May 22nd, 2009 / No Comments » / by admin

Many people shy away when it comes to online dating, they believe it’s uncomfortable and simply cannot get used to it. People who use London dating sites are just regular Londoners, they are not geeks  . . well not all of them! Times have changed and people need to start using modern technologies such as dating sites, don’t get left behind join a local London dating site today.

To Pay or Not To

Many common dating sites such as match.com charge a subscription membership and frankly speaking these can be quite expensive. On the other hand there are a number of dating sites which are free to use, but they all have ads and sometimes it can get frustrating to find what you need. If you don’t mind paying to use a dating site then go ahead and pay for it, if the credit crunch has hit you then you might want to try out some of the free dating sites available.

I’m nervous becvause i’ve never done it before

Fact is everyone who joins a dating site has never dated online before, so your nothing special love! But seriously there is no need to be nervous, infact you should be more confident than ever, don’t forget everyone is sitting behind a computer screen.

Tips:

  • Don’t be rude to anyone
  • Contact someone who you feel is right
  • Read through the details of the person before contact
  • Don’t come across as desperate, seriously this one will not get you laid!
  • Talking about laid, don’t mention sex at all, untill you feel it’s right

G20 Summit Protests

April 1st, 2009 / No Comments » / by admin

Over the last few days the media has hyped up that there will be 1000s of protesters outside the Bank of England today. As you can probably see from all the pictures that almost every building windows nearby have been boarded up. I still remember the previous protests and the police riots too, it was a very aggressive atmosphere. But now we are in the 21st century with modern technology surrounding us and police security sharper than ever, I can’t really see much physically damage.

Apparently there is a shortage of policemen in London and many different police forces have joined together. It’s all sounding a bit like the Lord of the Rings : Two Towers when the army marches towards the enemy gates! watching BBC News this morning and the reporter was saying city workers have dressed down to avoid being seen as a target. I mean seriously come on, it’s all a bit too much no? Well I guess we still have to witness to see what is left over after today.

If a particular group of individuals do start kicking things off, I’m sure city police will have it all under control. I guess many folks will visit the city today just to see the whole parade of protesters gathering. With Obama in town security is at it’s peak and I doubt anything serious will occur from this. However we all believe in something and I back these protesters for what they do! Last week the Union of Shop Distributive and Allied Wrokers group were handing out flags for the protest. It’s a beautiful day in London and I’m sure we are to expect thousands flogging from around town. Protests like these are the only way the government ever listens. They UK is a democracy country, but no-one really has their say. If your a true believer and not just one fo those lazy people, do something about it today and come to London and let your voice be heard. We are Londoners!!!!

People from all walks of life take the underground. We have here the students, tourists and workers in investment companies like investools. Anyone who has been taking the subway for a long time could easily tell the difference and say what needs to be fixed, repaired and changed.

When ever I use the underground I can think of dozens of ways to improve it. I mean come on, it’s not state of the art and generally looks dirty. Yet we see an increase in fare prices almost every 6 months! Ever since Mrs Thatcher decided to privatise and sell off all key public recources, we now have to deal with strikes, poor maintenance and everything else that comes with it. I guess there has been many efforts to improve the London Underground, but all the attempts have faded over a time period. Also what Read more…

Tesco, ASDA, mySupermarket . . Confused?

March 10th, 2009 / No Comments » / by admin

Tesco and Asda have gotten into a bitch fight recently with so many TV ads with mysupermarket.co.uk it’s become very confusing if you ask me. However, I do my research and I found out that Tesco are reasonably cheaper than Asda. What I’m saying is not because Tescos is around the corner or because my aunty offered me  jobs at tesco. I like pasta, because I buy pasta almost on a daily basis I thought I’d do some experimenting.

I popped into Asda first, it cost me 90p on a oyster to get there. After getting there I realized it took my 25 minutes on the bus. Quite a long time actually to buy pasta. Anyway, I was expecting some good offers at Asda. Well I found some excellent offers. I found asda’s own brand pasta sauce for 26p! It couldn’t get any better, so I bagged about Read more…
