I knew a few people who worked at GuestInvest and the company it self collapsed when the bank called in the administrators. The founder was a guy called Johnny Sandelson and he was very arrogant apparently, he was born into money and became one of those guys who were simply “I’m too rich to speak to you”.
Maybe you saw the GuestInvest advertisements all over the buses, “Earn money whilst others sleep” well I guess the investors are sleeping well. The whole 300 investors who believed in the product lost all their money in a little company. It goes to show the power of marketing and the effect it can have.
Although I love London I hate business men who create and break peoples careers for money. To be frank all businesses are there to make money but some business men owners take advantage of this to make a nice profit.
There’s no doubt Johnny Sandelson walked out of the administration like roses. His ex-employees told me that this guy was a mean b**tard and only liked money. Well I don’t blame them because they told me that they lost their jobs within 48 hours without any notice. And Johnny the CEO didn’t even send a letter out to the employees or an email, it simply goes to show the sympathy he had for his employees.
The lesson we should learn here is if you have a CEO called Johnny, maybe it’s been used too many time!:)
